The Natick Cooperative Playgroup (NCP) is a nonprofit corporation established by area families to provide a social environment for children under the age of five and to build connections between metro-west parents.
The organization, which was formed over 40 years ago, offers playgroup sessions from September through May four days a week.
We are an organization made up of volunteers to keep the costs low and to provide a unique multi-age opportunity for families in Natick, Wayland, Framingham, Wellesley, Sherborn, Weston, Dover, Holliston, Hopkington and Medfield.
Membership fees cover your entire family.
The two-hour playgroup sessions have time set aside for free play, an allergy-friendly snack, a simple craft activity and circle time. Our age appropriate toys include infant toys, slides, dolls, riding toys, play structures, a play kitchen, basketball hoops, puzzles, and a train set. We also have exersaucers, and diaper changing facilities.
Special events are held throughout the year for all members. These events include a Winter party, a Spring Lecture, a Children's Performer, and an end-of-year Picnic.
We have a variety of memberships available: morning sessions, afternoon sessions, and parent only memberships. Parent only memberships are offered for parents who are primarily looking to connect with other area parents on-line and at a few social events during the year. Playgroup memberships, morning and afternoon, gain access to the playspace on your chosen day and to all social events for children and parents.
